Patna: Divisional Commissioner, Patna, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, while reviewing the arrangements for the sample test of Coronavirus patients including the suspected ones directed the officials concerned to send report daily in prescribed form. He reviewed progress of Rtpcr / true-nat / antigen test district-wise.
Divisional Commissioner Agarwal also reviewed availability of Antigen kit district-wise and status of start of test works. Patna district has received 2,000 Antigen kits and test works have started. In Antigen test, report is available within half an hour and one would
not have to wait for report. Through this, tests of cases of symptomatic and high risk contact have started. Altogether 7,000 kits
have been made available to Patna division and now immediate test of sample of infected persons would be carried out.
Antigen tests in all districts under Patna division started on July 13, 2020,  and tests of around 250 persons were carried out and
report was received immediately. Agarwasl directed all DMs to activate contact tracing cells and inquire about health of
positive case persons through telephone and start sample collection work.
Agarwal also directed for monitoring of home isolation facility. He said that those who wish to remain in home isolation will be allowed
home isolation on doctor’s advise and precautions has to be taken at home. He issued orders for mandatory use of masks and sanitisers under standard operating procedure and compliasnce of  social distance of two yards.
The Divisional Commissioner has urged people to download Arogya Setu App as this app acts as a protective shield against corona infection. He instructed all district officials for creation of containment zone immediately after detection of positive case and creating buffer zone if necessary. All movement in containment zones should be stopped and the people should be sanitised. Directive was issued to maintain all necessary services there. Agarwal directed Patna DM to depute magistrate and police officers to PMCH.
The meeting was attended by DMs of Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Rohtas and Buxar districts, Regional Development Officer Sarva Narayan Yadav, Secretary to Commissioner SM Kaiser, Incharge deputy director, PRD, Pramod Kumar, Regional Programme Manager, Health, Patna, Shailesh Kumar, Regional Evaluation and Monitoring Officer Ritu Rai.
