Patna: Divisional Commissioner, Patna, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, held a review meeting with all DMs under the Division through video conferencing on July 11, 2020, and issued necessary instructions to them to intensify the drive to check spread of COVID-19 infection. Agarwal asked them to pay special attention to quality in sample collection and tests.
He obtained information about sample collection from all DMs and instructed them to accelerate sampling of synoptic persons and contact tracing. Agarwal also ordered for constant and effective monitoring of admit and discharge matters. The status of discharge cases on July 11, 2020, was : Bhojpur 10, Buxar-10, Nalanda-76, Patna-70, and Rohtas-13.
The Divisional Commissioner directed to set up control room at district level for effective monitoring of COVID-19. For this, he
directed to issue telephone number and allocate work to the personnel by deputation phase-wise. Agarwal directed to make proper arrangements for catering and cleanliness at isolation centres. He also directed to ensure proper and adequate arrangements of doctors and medicine at these centres.
The video-conferencing was attended by DMs of Patna, Rohtas, Bhojpur, Buxar, Nalanda and Kaimur, Regional Development Officer Sarva Narayan Yadav, Regional Programme Manager, Health, Patna, Shailesh Kumar, Deputy Director Public Relations Pramod Kumar, Regional Evaluation and Monitoring Officer Ritu Rai.
