Director, Zonal Manager of Sankalp Srijan Company sent to jail

Ara : Bhojpur police sent Director Praveen Kumar and Zonal Manager R N Lal of Sanklp Srijan Production Company (SSPC) to jail on March 9, 2018, for allegedly running a non-banking finance company without registration.

Sadar SDO Arun Prakash had lodged a named FIR against six persons associated with the company:  Praveen Kumar, R N Lal, Amarnath Kumar, Amrita Sinha, Anjani Kumar and Ranjay Singh, in this connection. Director Praveen is a resident of village Gopalpur under Rania Talab police station in Patna district while Zonal Manager R N Lal is a resident of village Rupsagar under Navanagar police station in Buxar district.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had lodged a complaint with the Economic Offence Unit (EOU) claiming that the Sanklp Srijan Production Company is carrying out banking work without registration. On the basis of the complaints, a team of EOU from Patna with the help of Bhojpur police had conducted raid at Sanklp Srijan Production Company office located at Apoorva Tower near Ara Sadar Hospital under Town police station March 6, 2018, and seized all the pass- books and documents of fixed deposits.

SDO, Sadar, Ara, Arun Prakash said that accepting deposits under different schemes is illegal and against the interest of depositors under different section of Depositors Interest Protection Act 2002 and different sections of the IPC and added that the company had papers of registration with the Registrar of Company (ROC).

Director, Praveen Kumar said that his company had allowed transaction under cooperative system among its members.
