Dhanbad ( Jharkhand) : BJP MP from Dhanbad Pashupati Nath Singh has been put in home quarantine for 14 days on his return from Delhi to his Dhanbad residence. This information was given by the attending doctor Dr R K Singh on April 15, 2020.

As per district administration, Dhanbad MP, who had  gone to attend the budget session of Parliament, got stranded there after the national lockdown was declared on March 24, 2020, and no movement of trains or flight services was allowed and the senior MP was stuck in the national capital. Finding no option, the MP returned to Dhanbad by road by his own vehicle on April 14, 2020, evening. After this information reached the district administration, Dhanbad DC Amit Kumar sent a team of officials along with doctor who advised the senior politician to stay in home quarantine for 14 days.
It may be mentioned here that Jharkhand has reported 27 Coronavirus confirmed cases till date while 2 patient died due to the disease. Three Jharkhand Districts : Ranchi, Bokaro, and Hazaribagh, are affected by COVID-19. Bihar has reported 70 confirmed cases of Coronavirus till date while one patient died due to it.
