Delpo, A Zverev, Dimitrov enter 2nd round of ATP China Open

Patna : World No 4 in ATP rankings Juan Martin del Porto, 30, Argentina, World No 5 Alexander Zverev, 21, Germany, World No 8 Grigor Dimitrov, 27, Bulgaria, and World No 13 Fabio Fognini, 31, Italy, entered the second round of ATP China Open 2018 at Beijing on October 2, 2018. China Open is an ATP tour 500 event.

Del Porto beat World No 50 Albert Ramos Vinolas, 30, Spain, 7-5, 6-2 in the first round. Del Porto fired 10 Aces in the match to 4 by Vinolas. He committed just one double fault compared to 4 by Vinolas. Del Porto also won 4 break points to just 1 by Vinolas. Del Porto also won 4 games in a row to 2 by his rival.

Zverev beat World No 26 Roberto Bautista Agut, 30, Spain, 6-4, 6-4 to enter the second round. Zverev won 4 break points to 2 by Agut. Zverev served 4 Aces in the match to 3 by Agut.

Fognini beat World No 102 Radu Albot, 28, Moldova, in a three-set thriller  1-6, 6-3, 6-3 to enter the second round. Both the players served 3 Aces each in the match. Both of them also won 6 break points each in the match. Fognini committed 3 double faults to 2 by Albot. Albot, a qualifier, won 7 games in a row to 5 by Fognini.

Dimitrov beat World No 59 Tennys Sandgren, USA, 7-5, 6-3 to enter the second round of the event. Sandgren, a qualifier,  served 8 Aces in the match to just 1 by Dimitrov. But, Dimitrov won 3 break points to 1 by his rival. Dimitrov also won 5 games in a row to 3 by Sandgren.
