Patna :  World Number 6 and 5th seed Juan Martin del Porto, 29, Argentina, and World Number 17 and 14th seed John Isner, 32, USA,  entered the semi-finals of  Miami Open ATP Masters 1000 on March 28, 2018. del Porto and Isner will meet in the semi-finals.

del Porto defeated World Number 25 and 20th seed Milos Raonic in a fiercely contested match 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, in quarterfinals at Crandon Park Tennis Centre, Key Biscayne, Florida, USA, on March 28, 2018, to enter the semi-finals.

Isner defeated World Number 23 and 19th seed Hyeon Chung, 21, South Korea, to 6-1, 6-4, to enter the semi-fianls of the tournament. Isner had defeated World Number 3 and Australian Open 2018 finalist Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia, 7-6, 6-3, in the Round of 16 on March 27, 2018.

World Number 19 and 16th seed Pablo Carreno Busta, 26, Spain, will meet World Number 8 and 6th seed Kevin Anderson, 31, South Africa, in the quarterfinals. World Number 5 Alexaner Zverev, 20, Germany, is meeting World Number 36 and 29th seed Borna Coric, 21, Croatia, in the last quarterfinals.
