New Delhi : Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be visiting Andaman & Nicobar Command on October 18 & 19, 2017. On her maiden visit to the Command, she will be celebrating Diwali with troops and interacting with their families during various events over the two days. Sitharaman will be visiting the operational area of the Command and Air Force Station Car Nicobar. She will be laying wreaths at the Swatantra Jyoti in Cellular Jail and Tsunami Memorial at Car Nicobar, according to a PIB release.
