Death toll in Bihar flood increases to 60

P atna: The death toll in 12 flood affected districts of Bihar on Wednesday increased to sixty. Altogether 29 lakh people in 2,220 panchayats of these districts are reeling under the flood caused by rivers Mahananda, Bakhra, Kankai, Parmar, Kosi and some other rivers. The flood affected districts are: Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Saharsa, Madhepura, Supaul, Darbhanga, East Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj and Bhagalpur, according to a state government release.
