DD score 181/4 against RCB in Delhi

Patna : Delhi Daredevils (DD) scored a competitive 181/4 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 45th match of IPL 2018 at Feroz Shah Kotla ground, Delhi, on May 12, 2018, night, with Rishabh Pant, wicketkeeper, scoring 61 in 34 ball hitting 5 fours and 4 sixes. DD captain Shreyas Iyer made 32 in 35 ball with 3 fours.

RCB had won the toss but opted to bowl. DD lost their first wicket, that of in form Prithvi Shaw, when the score was only 4. DD lost their second wicket, that of Jason Roy, England, when the score was 16. Prithvi Shaw made 2 while Roy made 12. Pant got out when the score was 109 while Iyer fell when the DD score was 120.

Vijay Shankar and Abhisekh Sharma were then involved in an unbroken partnership of 61 run for the 5th wicket. Abhishekh Sharma remained unbetaen on 46 in 19 ball with 3 fours and 4 sixes while Vijay Shankar remained unbeaten on 21 in 20 ball with 2 fours.

For RCB, Yuzvendra Chahal took 2/28 in 4 overs while pacer Mohammad Siraj took 1/46 in 4 overs. Moeen Ali, England, took 1/25 in 4 overs. Tim Southee leaked 41 in 4 overs without taking any wicket.
