Patna : Delhi Daredevils (DD), who had scored 219/4 in 20 overs batting first, defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 55 runs in the 26th match of IPL this season at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi on April 27, 2018. KKR had won the toss but elected to bowl.

DD had scored 219/4 riding on an unbeaten 93 in 40 balls with 3 fours and 10 sixes by Shreyas Iyer and 62 in 44 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes by opener Prithvi Shaw. Shaw’s opening partner Colin Munro also made 33 in 18 balls with 4 fours 2 sixes.

In reply, KKR could score only 164/9 in 20 overs with Andre Russel making 44 in 30 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes and Shubham Gill scoring 37 in 29 balls with 3 ours and a six. Sunil Narine made 26 in 9 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes. KKR captain and wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik made 18 hitting a six while opener Chris Lynn made 5. Mitchell Johnson remaine not out on 12 while Kuldip Yadav remained unbeaten on 7.

For KKR, Trent Boult, Glen Maxwell, Avesh Khan, and Amit Mishra took two wickets each . Subham Gill was run out.
