DC score 129/8 against SRH in 16th match of IPL-12

Patna : Delhi Capital (DC) scored 129/8 in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 16th match of IPL-12 at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, on April 4, 2019, with Captain Shreyas Iyer scoring 43 in 41 balls hitting 3 fours and a six and spinner Axar Patel an unbeaten 23 in 13 balls hitting 1 fours and 2 sixes. SRH won the toss but opted to bowl.

Batting first, DC lost its first wicket that of opener Prithvi Shaw (11) at 14 and that of his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan (12)at 36. Rishabh pant (wk) fell to spinner Mohd Nabi for 5 making it 52/3. Iyer fell to spinner Rashid Khan while Shikhar Dhawan fell to Nabi. Shaw fell to captain Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, who also accounted for Chris Morris (17).

For SRH, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar,  Mohammad Nabi, and Siddharth Kaul, took two wickets each while Sandeel Sharma and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 130, SRH were 20/0 after 3 overs.
