Patna : Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 37 runs in the 3rd match of IPL-12 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, on March 24, 2019, late night, with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant scoring an unbeaten 78 in 27 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes. MI had won the toss but opted to bat. Batting first, DC made 213/6.

Chasing a target of 214, MI were all out for 176 in 19.2 overs with Yuvraj Singh scoring 53 in 35 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes and all-rounder Krunal Pandya 32 in 15 balls with 5 fours and a six. MI openers Rohit Sharma (C) and Quinton de Kock scored 14 and 27 runs respectively while Keiron Pollard scored 21 in 13 balls with 2 fours and a six. Hardik Pandta was out for a duck.

For DC, Kagiso Rabada, who was bowling at a scorching pace touching even 15o kmph, took 2/23 in 4 overs while Ishant Sharma took 2/34 in 4 overs. Trent Boult took 1/42 while Axar Patel took 1/42 in 3 overs. Keemo Paul and Rahul Tewatia also took one wicket each. Tewatia also took 4 catch in the match.
