Patna : Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 7 wickets in the 26th match of IPL-12 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on April 12, 2019, late night, with opener Shikhar Dhawan scoring an unbeaten 97 in 63 balls hitting 11 fours and 2 sixes and Rishabh Pant scoring 46 in 31 balls hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes. Dhawan and Pant added 105 runs for the 3rd wicket. Colin Ingram hit the winning run, a six. Dhawan missed out on scoring his maiden IPL century. Chasing a target of 179, DC scored 180/3 in 18.5 overs.

DC had won the toss but opted to bowl. Batting first, KKR had scored 178/7 in 20 overs with opener Subham Gill scoring 65 and Andre Russel 46 hitting 3 fours and 4 sixes.Robin Uthappa scored 28.
