Dancer injured in firing at Rohtas village

Dehri-on -Sone( Rohtas): A dancer received bullet injury at village Chaukhanda-Chitauli village Sasaram Muffassil police station in Rohtas district late Sunday evening during a ‘shraddh ritual. The injured dancer was referred to Varanasi in precarious condition.

During a shraddh, a dance party was organized at Chaukhanda-Chitauli. When the  dance programme was going on, some people started firing to appreciate the performance. But,   a bullet hit the dancer and injured her. The dancer was identified as Roshani,s who works for a theatre company of Natwar in Rohtas district. An FIR has been lodged with   Sasaram Muffassil police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.
