Muzaffarpur : In a daring dacoity committed at the house  of a small  businessman at village Dighra located near a petrol outlet under Sadar Police Station, Muzaffarpur, on September 3, 2020, late night, around seven criminals not only looted cash, jewellery, and valuables at gun point but also kidnapped the trader’s 16 year old younger creating sensation in the area.

The dacoits tied the hands and legs of the teenage daughter  of the businessman and  took her with  them. Her helpless parents could not  save their daughter. The criminals had entered into the trader’s house after scaling the rear boundaywalls. First they made the wife and elder daughter of the trader hostage at gun point. When the younger daughter reached there, she too was overpowered by the criminals and latter kidnapped by them while leaving the place.

The villagers, along with  the father of the girl searched for the dacoits and kidnapped girl on different roads by motorcycles and four-wheelers but in vain. The trader informed police in night about the incident but they did not take it seriously. The  angry villagers staged
dharna on Muzaffarpur – Samastipur NH on September 4, 2020, morning, demanding immediate recovery of the  girl .The  protesters  pelted cops with stones when they reached the protest venue.

Police are conducting raids to nab the criminals  and recover the kidnapped girl. Meanwhile, tension prevails  in the area  after this incident.
