Bokaro (Jharkhand) : To exhibit the creative potentials of the students, DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, organiszed  the Cultural Week- ‘Ullas’ that showcased the amazing talents of the students in visual and performing arts. ‘Ullas’ concluded on August 6, 2021. ‘Ullas’ showcased the talents of the students in various events including Group Song, Group Dance, Tabla and Orchestra.

The Day 1 witnessed two graceful and smooth dance performances highlighting the rich folk culture of India in the form of  ‘Lavani’ and ‘Rajasthani’ which stole the show.

The inspirational and melodious rendition of motivational song ‘Tu Zinda Hai’, presented by the students on Day 2 in the form of group song along with the soulful ‘Sufi’ song ‘Tu Mane Ya Na Mane’ left the audience spellbound.

On Day 3, remarkable synchronisation of rhythm and euphony in Orchestral performance based on the Indo-western fusion and the performance of the students on tabla (TeenTaal) was balanced and measured and was highly appreciated.

The event concluded with an array of visual art presentations by students in the form of Rangoli, poster making, art installation, and sculpture designing on Day 4.

Principal, DPS Bokaro,  A S Gangwar, expressed his delight over the enthusiastic participation of the students at the competition. He reiterated, “Music is the universal language of the soul that binds the world with happiness. It is indeed heartening to see our students participating at such an event.”  He also appreciated the beautiful stage decor and congratulated the teachers for their efforts in making the programme a grand success.
