CSK score 176/4 against RR in Jaipur IPL

Patna : Chennai Super Kings (CSK) scored 176/4 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 43rd match of IPL 2018 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan, riding 52 in 35 ball with 6 fours and a six by Suresh Raina and an unbeaten 33 in 23 ball with a four and a six by captain M S Dhoni. Sam Billings, 26, England, was run out for 27 hitting 3 fours.

CSK won the toss and elected to bat. They lost the wicket of opener Ambati Rayudu, their most consistent batsman in the IPL this season, when the team score was 19. Rayudu scored 12 runs. His opening partner Shane Watson, Australia, was out for 39 when the score was 105. Watson hit 2 fours and 2 sixes. He and Raina were involved in a 86 run partnership for the second wicket. Raina got out when the CSK score was 119.

For RR, Jofra Archer, 23, a Barbados born English cricketer, took 2/42 in 4 overs while spinner Ish Sodhi took 1/29 in 4 overs.
