Criminals shot dead Scorpio owner, escape with vehicle in Bhojpur

Ara : Six armed criminals shot dead a vehicle owner Saurabh Kumar and escaped with his Scorpio on November 14, 2017,  near Babura plant at village Shivam Chak under Barhara police station. An FIR was lodged with Barhara police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection though police are conducting raids at different places. Police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The Khalasi of the vehicle is being interrogated by police.
According to sources, six armed persons hired a Scorpio at Saguna Mor in Danapur for Bakhorapur Kali temple in Bhojpur district on November 14. The vehicle owner Saurabh Kumar of Dhanchhua village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district and Khalasi Santosh Singh of Saguna Mor left for Bhakhorapur. When the vehicle reached near Babura Plant at Shivam Chak village under Barhara police station, the miscreants shot dead Saurabh Kumar and also fired on Khalasi Santosh Singh but he escaped unhurt. Later, the miscreants escaped with the vehicle towards Chhapra in Saran district.
