Patna : Two bike borne criminals shot at and seriously injured collection agent of dairy milk booth Samir Singh, 26, near a slum behind Panch Shiv Mandir under Kankarbagh police station (PS), Patna, at 1.30 pm on October 5, 2017, and looted Rs 1 lakh cash from him. Senior police officials of Patna reached the place of occurrence soon after the incident but police are yet to arrest the two criminals.
The criminals fired on Samir when he resisted them. The bullet hit Samir in the back and he was rushed to a private hospital. SHO, Kankarbagh PS, said that police were trying to identify the two criminals through CCTV footage. The SHO said that Samir is a resident of Beur area, Patna. He said that Samir had started his day’s work few hours back.
