Sitamarhi : Two bike borne unidentified criminals shot and seriously injured Dhirendra Kumar Pankaj alias Guddu Mishra, a resident of Raghunathpuri Colony of Sitamarhi town in North Bihar , on march 9, 2021, when he was on morning walk in the same locality. The criminals shot at him thrice. Dhirendra Kumar Pankaj was soon admitted to a Nursing Home. He is a close relative of former union minister late Raghunath Jha.
Sitamarhi SP Anil Kumar visited the place of occurrence and inquired into the incident from different angles. But none has been arrested in this connection so far.
There has been spate of crime in Sitamarhi District for the last one fortnight leading to murder of around half a dozen persons including Majorganj police station (PS) SI Dinesh Ram.
