Patna : Four armed criminals looted Rs 6.9 lakh cash from Pawan Kumar, staff of  a Bakhtiyarpur trader Suresh Prasad, when he was going to deposit the amount at a branch of Bank of Baroda at 1 pm on March 15, 2017. SHO, Bakhtiyarpur police station in Patna district, Lallan Kumar, said that the criminals looted the cash from Pawan in Dr Gyanendra Gali ( lane).

The SHO said that Suresh Prasad runs an agency of Hindustan Lever. He said that although the criminals were not riding bikes when they looted cash from Pawan but it appears they later used bikes to escape. The SHO said that while escaping one of the criminals left behind his sandals which the dog squad followed but after some distance the sniffer dog stopped indicating the criminals used bikes to escape. SHO Kumar said that police were searching for them.
