SAsahasrsaas : Unidentified criminals looted Ras 5 lakh cash from the four-wheeler of a contractor Ssatyeash Suman near Shivpuri Dhala under Sadar police station in Saharsa District in North Bihar after breaking its window in broad daylight throwing an open challenge to police.
Satyeash Suman, as native of village Batraha under Sadar police station and son of Badri Yadav, said that he had drawn the cash from Kutchery branch of the SBI and was going to Hakpara to meet his brother -in-law. Suman said that he had stopped his car near an ATM Kiosk close to Shivpuri Dhala and had gone to meet someone when the criminals looted cash from his vehicle. SDPO Prabhakar Tiwary reached the place of occurrence to make an on the spot inquiry into the incident.
