Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Three unidentified criminals riding a motorcycle looted Rs 2 lakh cash from Jarangdih Petrol Pump under Gandhi Nagar police station in Bokaro district in Jharkhand on July 5, 2017. The petrol pump is located about 47 km away from Bokaro Steel City.
According to police, the criminals entered the office of the petrol pump and while two of them flashed their pistols ordering the two employees to hand over the cash, the third kept guard. After collecting the cash, the criminals escaped unchallenged. Later, an alarm was raised by the employees and even police was informed but by then the criminals had escaped.
Police has sealed all the exit points and has started a massive search to nab the criminals involved in the cash loot. Bokaro SP Y S Ramesh said that two teams had been constituted to catch the culprits while petrol pump employees are also being interrogated.
