Katihar : Three armed motorcycle borne criminals looted Rs 10 lakhs cash on August 3, 2021, at gun point from an agent of Writer
Business Pvt Ltd company near GRP roundabout in Katihar town in East Bihar in broad daylight and escaped. Police is investigating the case and raids are on to nab the criminals with the help of CCTV footage.
DSP, Katihar, Amar Kant Jha, said that the criminals involved in cash loot would be arrested soon. Police have identified the criminals with the help of CCTV footage of hops near the place of occurrence.
Nakuldeo Sah,an Agent of Writer Business Private Limited Company, Katihar Branch, said he was going to Axix Bank branch to located at Shahid Chawk from his stock office with a bag containing cash Rs 10 lakh to deposit the same into the bank. As soon as he
reached near GRP Chowk, he was intercepted by three unidentified criminals and they snatched the cash bag from him at gun point and sped away on their bike.
It may be mentioned here that the cases of crime have increased in Katihar. A former Mayor of Katihar Municipal Corporation was killed four days ago.
