Ara: Two motorcycle borne unidentified armed miscreants snatched Rs 1.35 lakh from Sobhrati Nat of Jagdispur under the same police station near Baligaon on Tenduni-Garhani main road on Tuesday when he was en route a cattle fair at Garhani. The SHO Jagdishpur police station said that the miscreants beat Sobhrati Nat and tied him with a roadside tree and decamped with his Rs 1.35 lakh.

The SHO said that it was the ninth  incident of loot and murder in the area. On June 8, 2016, the miscreants shot at and looted Rs 5 lakh from a businessman near Nayaka Tola mor, Mrityunjay Singh,  a JD(U) leader, was shot dead near Mangari Chowk Mosque on June 9 while Rs 50 lakh was looted from a businessman from Madhya Pradesh on June 13 . One person was shot dead and burnt by his own brothers at village Utterdaha on June 15, Rs 50,000 was looted from Om Shree petrol pump on June 16, and on June 18, passengers of a mini bus were looted near Nayaka Tola mor  while Rs 65,000 was stolen from a motorcycle near Kotwali on June 20.
