Criminal threatens to eliminate JD(U) from Parbatta

Patna : A criminal threatened to eliminate JD(U) MLA from Parbatta in Khagaria district Ramananad Prasad Singh on his mobile phone on June 8, 2018, by blowing up his car within five days. The criminal told JD(U) MLA Singh, a former Minister, that he would blow up his car by planting a bomb inside it.

Singh, who lives in Lohianagar MIG under Kankarbagh olice station, Patna, has recorded the conversation he had with the criminal, who called him thrice on his mobile phone between 11.17 am to 11.20 am on June 8. Singh has handed over the recorded conversation to police. Singh also informed the DGP about the incident. Kankarbagh police station has registered a case in this connection on the statement of Singh, who was an engineer before joining politics in 1994.

SHO, Kankarbagh police station, said that police were searching for the criminal on the basis of his mobile lcation. Police are conducting raids to arrest the criminal, the SHO said.  Replying to a query, the SHO said that the criminal did not demand any extortion amount from Singh. It is also not clear as to why he threatened the JD(U), the SHO said.
