Criminal loots Rs 9.14 lakh from United Bank of India branch at Patna

Patna : An unidentified criminal looted Rs 9.14 lakh cash from Station Road branch of United Bank of India under Kotwali Police Station (PS), Patna,  on December 31, 2019, afternoon, and escaped unchallenged. Police have remained clueless so far by checking the CCTV footage.though they are trying to identify the criminals. The incident has created sensation as the bank is located in a busy area.

A Kotwali PS official claimed that only one criminal with his face partially covered had entered the bank, posed as if he was carrying firearm, and looted cash from the cash counter and escaped. The incident took place around 3.30 pm. The criminal, with a view to terrorising the bank employees, reportedly told them that his armed colleagues were standing outside.
