Patna: The banned CPI(Maoist) on Monday owned responsibility for cylinder bomb explosions at Khadiha canal under Deo police station in Aurangabad district 0n Sunday in which a CRPF commando Apoorva Deka from Assam was killed and other jawans were injured. The explosions took place on the second day of the two-day visit of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to the district. The Maoists claimed that they had taken revenge of Dhibra encounter early this year in the district with police in which few Maoists were killed. Meanwhile, police have detained 11 persons under Deo plice station area in connection with Khadiha canal explosions on Sunday. A Forensic Science Laboratory also reached the place of occurrence on Monday.
