Ara : Hundreds of CPI (M-L) activists on December 30, 2019, took out a procession from their office near Ara railway station in Bhojpur District that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town in protest against alleged highhandedness of Yogi Adityanath Government in Uttar Pradesh against the demonstrators protesting the NRC and CAA.

Speaking on the occasion, CP I(M-L) leader Amit Kumar Banty alleged that the Narendra Modi Government was plotting to disturb the communal harmony in the country. He said that India is a secular country and every person irrespective of caste, creed, race and religion is citizen of the country by birth and has right to live together here. He alleged that PM Narendra Modi , Home Minister Amit Shah, and CM, Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, were trying to implement the RSS agenda which they would not allow.
