Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 43,591 in Bihar on July 28, 2020, afternoon, with 2,480 more persons including 406 from Patna, 199 from Muzaffarpur, 128 from Nalanda, 145 from Gaya, and 55 from Bhagalpur testing positive to since July 26, 2020. Altogether 29,220 COVID patients have been declared cured till date in the state with the recovery rate being 67.03%. During last 24 hours, 1,376 patients were cured in the state.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 death toll in Bihar jumped to 269 on July 28, 2020, including 41 in Patna, 26 in Bhagalpur, 17 in Gaya, 15 in Nalanda, 13 in Rohtas, 11 in Muzaffarpur, 11 in Munger, 10 in Samastipur, 10 in Bgusarai, 10 in Darbhanga, 9 in East Champaran, 9 in West Champaran, 9 in Saran, 7 in Bhojpur, and 7 in Siwan.
