Patna : COVID-19 cases rose to 1,75,898 in Bihar on September 25, 2020, as 1,632 persons including 294 from Patna, 134 from Purnia, 72 from Muzaffarpur, 63 from Banka, 62 from Rohtas, 58 from Supaul, and 56 from Madhepura, and 53 from East Champaran, tested positive to it on September 24, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 49 persons from Nalanda, 47 from West Champaran, 46 from Bhagalpur, 43 from Madhubani, 42 from Kishanganj, 39 from Araria, 34 from Saharsa, 33 from Nawada, 32 from Arwal, 31 from Bhojpur, 31 from Sheikhpura, 30 from Gopalganj, 30 from Munger, 29 from Saran, 28 each from Jehanabad and Jamui, also tested positive to COVID-19 on September 24, 2020.

Of the 1,75,898 COVID-19 cases reported in Bihar till date, altogether 1,61,510 patients have been declared cured including 1,810 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 91.82%. The State has tested 65,79,427 samples so far including 1,64,769 samples on September 24, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 13,506 on September 25, 2020.

COVID-19 death increased to 881 in Bihar on September 25, 2020, with three new deaths recorded in the state including one in Patna and one in Vaishali during last 24 hours. The toll in Patna has increased to 203.
