Patna : The number of COVID-19 cases rose to 1,58,389 in Bihar on September 13, 2020, afternoon, as 1,523 more persons including 173 from Patna, 94 from Araria, 90 from Saharsa, 89 from Muzaffarpur, 73 from Bhagalpur, 68 from Purnia, 67 from Supaul, 57 from Rohtas, 52 from East Champaran, 51 from Khagaria, Lakhisarai, and 47 from West Champaran, tested positive to it on September 12, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 41 persons from Saran, 40 from Madhubani, 39 from Vaishali, 38 from Gaya, 36 from Aurangabad, 31 from Darbhanga, 33 from Kishanganj, 32 from Madhepura, and 32 from Nalanda, also tested positive to COVID-19 on September 12, 2020.

Of the 1,58,389 COVID cases reported so far in Bihar, a total of 1,43,053 patients have been declared cured/discharged including 1,895 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 90.32%. The State has tested 48,84,417 COVID samples till date including 1,10,500 on September 12, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll jumped to 822 in the state on September 13, 2020, with 14 new deaths being reported from different places during last 24 hours including four from Patna, four from Madhubani, two from Katihar, one each from Araria, Saharsa, Kishanganj, and Purnia. The toll climbed to 188 in Patna.
