Patna : COVID-19 cases rose to 1,85,707 in Bihar October 2, 2020, afternoon, as 1,431 persons including 236 from Patna, 131 from Purnia, 59 from Jamui, 58 from Muzaffarpur, 52 from Araria, 51 from West Champaran, tested positive to it on October 1, 2020.
According to State Health Department data, 49 persons from Banka, 48 from Gopalganj, 46 from Nalanda, 45 from Jehanabad, 44 from Siwan, 40 from Gaya, 37 from Bhagalpur, 35 each from Supaul, Kishanganj, and East Champaran, 34 from Madhepura, and 33 from Madhubani, also tested positive to COVID-19 on October 1, 2020.
Of the 1,85,707 COVID-19 cases recorded in Bihar till date, altogether 1,72, 364 patients have been declared cured including 1,497 during last 24 hours with the recvery rate being 92.82 %. The state has tested 75,06,649 samples so farĀ including 1,2,128 samples on October 1, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll jumped to 910 in Bihar on October 2, 2020, with four new deaths being reported in the state during last 24 hours including one each from Patna, Nalanda, Arwal, and Vaishali. The toll increased to 214 in Patna on October 2, 2020.,
