Patna : The COVID-19 cases rose to 1,78,882 in Bihar on September 27, 2020, as 1,527 persons including 259 from Patna, 116 from Purnia, 96 from Muzaffarpur, 63 from Bhagalpur, 57 from Banka, 57 from Madhepura, 53 persons from Gopalganj, 51 from Nalanda, 51 from Saran, and 51 from East Champaran tested positive to it on September 26, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 49 persons from Begusarai, 48 from Madhubani, 47 from Gaya, 42 from Araria, 39 from Supaul, 38 from Kishanganj, 36 from Rohtas, 36 from Siwan, 27 from Vaishali, and 26 from Jehanabad,also tested positive to COVID-19 on September 26, 2020.
Of the 1,78,882 COVID-19 cases reported in Bihar till date, altogether 1,64,537 patients have been declared cured including 1,405 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 91.98%. The state has tested 68,69,768 samples so far including 1,39,668 on September 26, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll increased to 888 in Bihar on September 27, 2020, with two new deaths being reported in the state during last 24 hours including one each from Bhagalpur and Vaishali. Patna has reported 27,256 COVID-19 cases till date of which 24,943 patients have been cured. The toll in Patna stands at 203.
