Patna : COVID-19 cases rose to 1,55,445 in Bihar on September 11, 2020, as 1,710 more persons including 211 from Patna, 207 from Gopalganj, 90 from Bhagalpur, 89 from Muzaffarpur, and 82 from Katihar, tested positive to it on September 10, 2020.
According to State Health Department, 66 persons from Purnia, 62 from Araria, 61 from Darbhanga, 55 from Saharsa, 54 from West Champaran, 53 from Madhubani, 50 from Supaul, 45 from Aurangabad, and 42 from Lakhisarai, also tested positive to COVID-19 on September 10, 2020.
Of the 1,55,445 COVID-19 cases reported in Bihar till date, a total of 1,39,458 patients have been declared cured including 2,187 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 89.72%. Bihar has tested 46,67,967 COVID samples so far including 1,05,074 samples on September 10, 2020.
COVID-19 death toll jumped to 797 in Bihar on September 11, 2020,with 12 new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including three from Munger, three from Nalanda, two from Bhagalpur, two from Nawada, and one each from Lakhisarai and Banka. The toll increased to 36 in Munger and 37 in Nalanda on September 11. The number of active cases in the state was 15,189 on September 11.
