Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,62,009 in Bihar on February 19, 2021, afternoon, as 67 more persons including 15 from Patna, 6 each from Bhagalpur and Madhubani, 5 from Nawada, 4 from from Saran, and 3 each from Banka, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Jehanabad, Muzaffarpur, tested positive for the pandemic on February 18, 2021.
Of the 2,62,009 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,59,973 patients have been declared cured including 75 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 99.22%. The number of active cases in the state was only 503 on February 19, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,21,55,721 samples so far including 34,463 samples on February 18, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,532 in Bihar on February 19, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 437 in Patna on February 19, 2021.
