Patna : Covid-19 cases climbed to 2,61,879 in Bihar on February 17, 2021, afternoon, as 38 more persons including 11 from Patna, 7 from Sheohar, 3 each from Jehanabad, Nawada, and Sitamarhi, and 2 each from Muzaffarpur and Lakhisarai, tested positive for the pandemic on February 16, 2021.
Of the 2,61,879 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,59,830 patients have been declared cured including 82 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.22%. The number of cases in Bihar was 519 on February 17, 2021. The state has so far tested 2,20,86,083 samples including 30,146 samples on February 16, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,529 in Bihar with 1 new deaths being recorded in Patna in the last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 436 in Patna.
