New Delhi : The phenomenal increase in the number of COVID-19 patients getting cured continues in India crossing one million mark at 8 am on July 30, 2020, reaching 10,20,582, an of 32,553 during last 24 hours, exceeding the number of active cases by 4.92,340. The numbers of active cases in the country stands at 5,28,242.

On the negative side, the Coronavirus death toll jumped to 34,968 on July 30, 2020, with 775 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country including 298 from Maharashtra, 98 from Karnataka, 65 from Andhra Pradesh, 26 from Delhi, 25 from Punjab, and 24 from Gujarat.

The Coronavirus death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (14,463), Delhi (3,907), Tamilnadu (3,741), Gujarat (2,396), Karnataka (2,147), Uttar Pradesh (1,530), West Bengal (1,490), Andhra Pradesh ( 1,213), Madhya Pradesh (843), Rajasthan (650), Telengana (492), Haryana (413), Punjab (361), J&K (348), Bihar (278), Odisha (159), Jharkhand (98), Assam (92), Uttarakhand (72), Kerala (68),  Chhattisgarh (48), Puducherry (47), Goa (39), Tripura (21), Himachal Pradesh (14), Chandigarh (14), Ladakh (6), Meghalaya (5), Nagaland (5), Arunachal Pradesh (3), Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu( 2), Andaman & Nicobar( 1), and Sikkim (1).

As far COVID patients getting cured goes, in Maharashtra 2,39,755 patients have been cured till date followed by 1,72,883 in Tamilnadu, 1,18,633 in Delhi, 55,406 in Andhra Pradesh, 45,807 in UP, 44,116  in West Bengal, 42,901 in Karnataka, 27,832 in Assam, and 26,420 in Haryana.
