Patna: An FIR has been lodged against one Ambika Choudhary, a resident of village Deehpali under Paliganj block in Patna District, following instructions from Patna DM Kumar Ravi. The case relates to gathering of more than 50 persons at a wedding ceremony recently without using masks and also not maintaining social distance allegedly spreading Coronavirus infection.
The FIR has been lodged with Paliganj police station by Block development officer (BDO), Paliganj, Chiranjeevi Pandey. It may be mentioned here that COVID-19 protocol was allegedly violated by the gathering rowd at wedding ceremony of late Anil Kumar, son of Ambika Chaudhary, on June 15, 2020, spreading Coronavirus infection. This is evident from investigation conducted by SDPO, Paliganj, on DM’s direction. Patna DM has appealed all the people to use masks and maintain social distance.
