New Delhi : novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll increased to 377 in India at 8 am on April 15, 2020, with 24 new deaths being reported since the last updated issued by Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry on April 14, 2020, evening, while the number of patients cured/discharged has increased to 1,305 including 259 in Maharashtra, 211 in Kerala, 71 in Karnataka, 147 in Rajasthan, 81 in Tamilnadu, and 100 in Telangana, a remarkable development. The number of Coronavirus active cases has jumped to 9,756 in India.
The COVID-19 death toll includes 178 in Maharashtra, 50 in Madhya Pradesh (MP), 30 in Delhi, 28 in Gujarat, 17 in Telangana, 12 each in Punjab and Tamilnadu, 10 in Karnataka, 9 in Andhra Pradesh, 7 in West Bengal, 5 in UP, 4 in J&K, 3 each in Rajasthan, Kerala, and Haryana, 2 in Jharkhand, and one each in Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, and Odisha.
