New Delhi : Coronavirus death toll increased to 127 in Maharashtra on April 12, 2020, morning, with 17 new deaths reported from the state since the last update issued by Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry on April 11 evening. Maharashtra had reported 1,761 Coronavirus active cases till 8 am on April 12. On the positive side, 208 patients have been cured/discharged in the state.

Madhya Pradesh, which accounted for 532 active cases till April 12 morning, has reported 36 deaths due to the disease. Coronavirus death toll in Gujarat, which accounted for 432 cases,  has increased to 22 while 44 patients were cured/discharged in the state.

Delhi had reported 1,031 Coronavirus active cases till April 12 morning while the death toll due to the disease had increased to 19. The number of patients cured/discharged was 25 in Delhi.

The COVID-19 death toll in Tamilnadu was 10 while in Telangana it was 9. The COVID-19 death toll in Punjab has increased to 11 in Punjab, which had reported 151 active cases till April 12 morning. Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh had reported 6 death each till the morning on the day.
