Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed cases increased at an alarming rate in Bihar on May 10, 2020, reaching 696 in the state with 23 more persons including 11 each in both Munger and Nalanda Districts testing positive to the disease late in the night. Of the 11 confirmed cases from Nalanda district, five were reported from Murgya Chak and four from Chandi and one each from from Mahkar and Karal. The patients are in 16-55 year age group.
Of the 11 positive cases from Munger, 8 were reported from Tikarampur, two from Jagdish Tola, and one from Jamalpur. The patients are in 19-55 year age group. With this, Munger has reported 115 COVID-19 confirmed cases. One confirmed case was also reported from Malpa, Chautham, in Khagaria District.
