Patna : Fifty-three more persons including 30 from Jehanabad District and 14 from Begusarai District tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on May 19, 2020, taking the total to 1,495 in Bihar. Aurangabad District reported four confirmed cases while Arwal District reported three such cases. Buxar and Nawada districts reported one case each.
In Jehanabad District, nine confirmed cases were reported from Modanganj, seven from Ghoshi, four from Kako, four from Ratnifaridpur, three from Makhdumpur, two from Sadar and one from Hulasganj taking the total to 58 in the district. In Arwal District, three cases were reported from Sadar. In Aurangabad District, two cases were reported from Sadar and one each from Madanpur and Barun taking the total to 26 in the district. Buxar and Nawada Districts also reported one case each.
In Begusarai District, three cases were reported from Sahebpur Kamal, two from Barauni, two from Birpur, one each from Khodawandpur, Lakhanpur, Pokharia, and Ajhour taking the total to 84 in the district. Meanwhile, the number of Coronavirus confirmed cases has crossed one lakh mark in 64 days in India.
