Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 9,224 in Bihar on June 28, 2020, night, with 107 more persons including 13 from Vaishali District, 10 from Bhojpur, ten from Araria, 13 from Nalanda, seven from Supaul, seven from Katihar, seven from Saran, six from West Champaran, six from Samastipur,  and three from Madhubani, testing positive to it. The new patients are in 0-56 year age group and authorities concerned are ascertaining their infection trail. Sofar, 7,156bpatients have been cured.

COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 62 in  Bihar including six in Patna district and five each in Darbhanga and Saran districts. Patna, Nawada, and Rohtas districts reported one new death each on June 28.

In Vaishali District in North Bihar, 13 cases were reported from Raja Pakar. In Supaul District, also in North Bihar, four cases were reported from Raghopur, and one each from Nirmali, Pratapganj, and Supaul town. In West Champaran District in North Bihar, six cases were reported from Bettiah, the district headquarters.

In Araria District, five cases were reported from Araria town, two from Kursakanta, and one each from Narpatganj, Forbesganj, and Jokihat. In East Champaran District, one case was reported from Chauradano while in Buxar District, one case each was reported from Rajpur and Buxar.

In Bhojpur District, four cases were reported from Ara and six from Shahpur. In Katihar district in eastern Bihar, seven cases were reported from Katihar town. In Madhubani District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Rahika. In Nalanda District, seven  cases were reported from Biharsharif, four from Karaiparsurai, and two from Rahui.

In Patna District, two cases were reported from Patna and one from Athmalgola. In Samastipur District in North Bihar, three cases were reported from Bibhutipur, two from Samastipur, and one from Rosera. In Saran District in North Bihar, two cases each were reported from Marhaurah and Revilganj, and one each from Chhapra and Isuapur. In Siwan, one case each was reported from Nautan and Goreakothi. In Sitamarhi, one case was reported from Dumra.
