Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose to 13,978 in Bihar on July 9, 2020, afternoon, with 704 more persons including 132 from Patna District, 73 from Vaishali, 63 from Bhagalpur, 44 from Begusarai, 42 from Nalanda, 39 from Muzaffarpur, 37 from Khagaria, 29 from Munger, 23 from West Champaran, and 11 from East Champaran, testing positive to it during last 24 hours. A total of 9,548 COVID patients have recovered till date in the state.
According to State Health Department sources, 20 persons in Banka, 19 each in Rohtas and Samastipur, 18 in Siwan, 17 in Gopalganj, 15 in Saran, 11 each in Buxar and East Champaran, and 10 in Gaya, had also tested positive during last 24 hours. Corona death toll in Bihar stands at 107.
On July 8, 2020, 749 persons including 235 from Patna District had tested positive to Coronavirus. In Bhagalpur, 50 persons had tested positive. In Begusarai, 63 persons had tested Coronas positive.
