Patna : Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases jumped to 11,864 in Bihar on July 5, 2020, evening, with 404 more persons including 52 from Begusarai, 45 from Muzaffarpur, 38 from Patna, and 29 from Vaishali district testing positive to it. Coronavirus death toll has increased to 90 in the state with two new deaths being reported from Bhhagalpur District in eastern Bihar. On the positive site, 8,765 patients have been cured in the state till date.
As far Coronavirus cases in Bihar goes, Bhagalpur and Nalanda Districts reported 22 new cases each followed by 21 from Nawada, 18 from West Champaran, 16 from Jehanabad, 12 from Munger, ten each from Siwan and Jamui, and 9 each from Gaya and Saharsa districts. Buxar District reported 8 cases while Madhubani reported 7 cases.
Khagaria, Kishanganj, and Lakhisarai districts reported six cases each while Darbhanga, Araria, Gopalganj, Samastipur, and Saran districts reported five cases each. Aurangabad district reported four cases while Arwal, Bhojpur, Banka, East Champaran, Sheikhpura, Sitamarhi, and Supaul districts reported three cases each. Two cases were reported from Katihar while one case each was reported from Madhepura and Rohtas districts.
Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi have tested negative to Coronavirus. Fourteen staff of CMO have also tested negative to COVID-19.
