New Delhi : A Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the IAF’s Mi-17 V5 Helicopter crash on February 27, 2019, morning. One Mi-17 V5 helicopter of Indian Air Force (IAF) got airborne from Srinagar airfield at 10 am on February 27 for a routine mission.

The helicopter crashed around 10.10 am near Budgam, J&K. All six air warriors on board the helicopter suffered fatal injuries.  A court of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the accident, according to a PIB release.
