Ara : A couple committed suicide at village Belaur under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on June 30, 2017, night. Police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on July 1. An FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station in this connection. The reason behind their suicide is yet to be ascertained.
SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that Rahul Kumar, son of Jhuri Pandit, and his wife Rani Devi, were sleeping in their room on June 30 night at their house at village Belaur but did not wake up in the morning on July 1. Their family members knocked the door of their room but as there was response from inside, the family members broke open the room and saw foam coming out of their mouth and the bodies still. They immediately informed police who rushed to the spot immediately and took the bodies under their custody and sent them to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
