Couple arrested on murder charge in Bhojpur

Ara : Police arrested Mithlesh Paswan and his wife Rita Devi on April 24, 2018, from village Atpa under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district and sent them to jail in connection with murder of Dhananjay Paswan of the same village around April 23 midnight.

SHO, Chauri police station, said that Dhananjay Paswan of Atpa village under Chauri police station had scolded Rita Devi, wife of his younger brother Mithlesh Paswan, over some issue. Rita Devi narrated a concocted story before her husband Mithilesh Paswan. A furious Mithlesh Paswan allegedly stabbed his elder brother Dhananjay Paswan to death. After the incident, Rita Devi went to her relatives to attend a marriage ceremony. Police seized the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and arrested the couple on  April 24.
