New Delhi : Raj Kumar Singh on September 5, 2017, took over as new Union Minister of State (IC) in Ministries of Power & New and Renewable Energy here. Railways Minister Piyush Goyal was present to hand over the charge to Singh .
Speaking to media after assuming his office, Singh said that there is lot of dynamism in the both Power & Renewable Energy Ministries which will be continued. Singh said that he would meet all standards of performance set by the his predecessor and new Railway Minister Piyush Goyal in the Ministries of Power and Renewable energy, according to a PIB release. The country is now energy surplus and that the vision of the Ministries has been defined by his predecessor, Singh added . He assured Goyal that the good work started by him will be completed and the Prime Minister’s vision will be realised.
